Our children's ministry is second to none. We ensure a fun, safe, and educational time every Sunday.

About our Kids

We love children and the joy they bring to our lives and church family. At the present time there aren't many children around, but we have recently renovated our children's area with a new look and equipment. We are praying for God to send us more little ones to enjoy the facilities as well as to become part of our church family.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Welcome to Lakeside! If this is your first time to visit or you've been here for years, you're still going to hear "Welcome to Lakeside". It's more than just a greeting, we mean it, you are welcome at Lakeside, and we want to make sure you feel welcome during your visit.

 

From being greeted at the front door to having someone help direct you to Bible Study classrooms to finding your seat in the sanctuary and finding the words to the songs we sing, we want you to feel welcome like family, our church family but more importantly we want you to feel welcome as part of God's family.

SAFETY

Leaders who work with children have been certified to do so through background checks, specialized training in CPR and various classes including child security / safety. Our education facility has separate areas for nursery, toddler, children and youth. We are committed to ensuring the safety of everyone on campus and especially the children.

WHAT WE TEACH

Children's class time is generally divided into a time for teaching, singing and games. Each teacher has their own style and has the freedom to divide class time accordingly. Teaching is the most important aspect of class time and is always based on scripture.

SUMMER CAMP

We take the youth to summer camp at Camp Silom in northwest AR. This camp has always been an awesome experience for the kids as well as the adults who take them.
