GET TO KNOW US

Lakeside is a community of believers that are committed to the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus through serving others. We believe that Jesus gave His all for us so we likewise should give Him our all. This is evident in our outreach ministry of Helping Hands food pantry where we serve our community with food for their family but also counsel with and pray for them to feed their soul as well.

We enjoy a close fellowship of believers not only through our regular Sunday and Wednesday services but with special events such as the monthly Sunday potlucks and an occasional movie night. Getting to know one another and sharing time together helps enrich our fellowship. Our church was founded as a mission church from a sister church in Hot Springs in 1965. Since then, it has grown and experienced many changes. From expanding the education and worship facilities to embracing an attendance of over 300 per week in the early 1990’s Lakeside has been very blessed.

Today attendance is less but we are no less blessed in our walk with the Lord. We continue to see visitors, old friends and new families come through our doors. It truly is amazing to see God work through us as we continue to serve Him.

WHO WE ARE

OUR MISSION

Our mission as a church and as believers is to follow the command of Jesus who said, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

OUR VISION

Our vision as a church is to reach the lost, feed the hungry and encourage them to serve the Lord as we work

toward our mission of making disciples and teaching God's word. We strive to be a light in the darkness and to make a real difference in the lives of those who seek God.

OUR VALUES

Our Values are simple. We believe in Jesus the Son of God and in His holy word the Bible and that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Tim 3:16. We believe in serving our Lord through the serving of others and that the Christian life shouldn't be lived alone but together with other believers through fellowship.
